Dear Mr. Adhir Ranjan Choudhary, please grow above your petty party #politics and atleast once behave like a healthy and responsible #opposition of the nation….!!
Prime Minister #NarendraModi on Thursday told the nation to usher preparedness for the increasingly-menacing #coronavirus a notch higher, asking people to decrease venturing out their houses unless necessary.
From announcing a ‘Janta Curfew’ on 22 March 2020 from 7 am to 9 pm, to the setting up of a #COVID-19 Economic Response Task Force to boost the economy, Prime Minister Modi’s crisp yet powerful address has drawn applause from all quarters of the nation.
However, #Congress leaders seem to find fault even in PM’s appeal to the nation in such a challenging time, with Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Adhir Ranjan Choudhury saying that the Prime Minister said “many unnecessary things”.
Unnecessary?!! You mean making people aware of social distancing is not required? Or #jantacurfew is not essential? Appluading our #healthworkers to boost their morale is also not required, I guess! You probably do not have a doctor in your family or friends who is working day and night which is no less than fighting like an army man!
“Many unnecessary things were said during the speech. There was no specific direction. Why #curfew for one day? It could have been for more days. (The #PM) Could have thought about a lockdown as well. I didn’t find any prominent strategy of the government in the speech,” Choudhury said.
